CriSyS, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Community Policing Crisis Clinician to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The working schedule is 7AM-5PM, 9AM-7PM. and 12PM-10PM. As a Community Policing Crisis Clinician, you will work closely as part of a police-based team, perform crisis intervention techniques, and serve as a liaison between clients, families, and community partners.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform on-scene assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate clients’ needs while making internal agency or community referrals.
• Experience working with a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations.
• Educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency’s services.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the medical implications when working with substance abuse consumers.
• Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner
• Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.

What We Require:

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study with at least one (1) year of professional experience
• Must possess and maintain current licensure in the State of North Carolina (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHCA)
• Must be able to commit to working 10-hour work shifts
• Must be able to de-escalate high-risk situations and be comfortable wearing a bulletproof vest
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance
